2 dogs rescued from 2230 SE Madison Street fire
KTKA - July 16, 2010

The Topeka Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 2230 SE Madison Street, shortly after 9:39 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2010.

First on scene fire officials reported light smoke showing and initiated searches of the structure. There were no occupants, but two dogs were rescued.

The fire was determined to be an accidental electrical fire that started in a bathroom. It caused $20,000 in damages.
