    Event Notice:

Chief DeGraffenreid and the Olathe Fire Department are excited to host “Career Survival 2.0 – A Culture of Administrative Safety”.   Many departments in the KC metro region have hosted the popular, “Career Survival Training” course provided by the Career Survival Group.  They are now offering Career Survival 2.0 – A Culture of Safety.  This course is a yearlong project that teams the Career Survival Group with your agency to clearly identify and respond to common administrative safety factors.  Administrative violations are at the root of most firefighter personnel actions and claims of workplace environment harassment/hostility.  These violations compromise public trust, squander tax payer dollars, crush agency moral, and derail efforts towards diversity, inclusion, and recruitment.

    Class Dates:  August 31, September 1 & 2, 2021

Please see the links below for additional information on this training opportunity and the Career Survival Group.

For more information and to register for the class please contact Division Chief Eric Barnum at ebarnum@olatheks.org or 913.971.7952

Your department chooses the classes that work best for your area. Did I mention that classes are FREE?
