The Office of the State Fire Marshal has 2, almost brand new, fire fighting "skid units" for sale. The units were purchased towards the end of 2018 for a pilot test program in conjunction with the Kansas National Guard. The Guard has since received 2 full size fire trucks and will not be moving forward with the slide in skid units/Humvee program. Both units have been removed from the Humvees and are currently stored inside at Salina and will be available for pick up there. One unit has a sidewinder remote control external mount nozzle setup with it.
