Kansas House Bill 2066 has had a hearing in the House Taxation Committee and was amended in the committee to provide for the elimination of most taxes (not registration fees) on two vehicles for only volunteer first responders. The bill does not define the term “volunteer.” If you support this bill you should contact your legislator to make sure this bill moves on for action by the entire legislature.
